AIChE is the national professional organization for chemical engineers. The chapter helps give each student an understanding of their future, in school as well as after graduation.
While membership is extended only to students in chemical engineering, other interested students are heartily invited to the chapter's programs. Chemical engineering freshmen are strongly urged to join the chapter.
NCSU Student Chapter is the recipient of 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 AIChE Outstanding Student Chapter Award and AIChE 1998 Marx Isaac Award for Outstanding Newsletter.
