Our Department has a collegial atmosphere between the students and faculty and is situated in one of the best areas for quality of life and business in the U.S. We provide financial assistance to all non-self-supported doctoral students: our PhD students receive a stipend ($24,000 in 2011-2012), plus tuition and health insurance. We accept students into the MS program with their own financial support.

Incoming Graduate Students are assigned to a faculty advisor and research group at the end of the first semester in residence.

Applications are considered as received. We encourage all applicants to submit applications before February 1st. Applications received after February 1st will be considered based on availability. The graduate school application form must be completed by March 1 for international students and March 31 for domestic students.

Normally only distance education students are admitted to begin their graduate work during Spring semesters.
