NSF Faculty Development Workshops

There are workshops that are underdevelopment for faculty at all ranks in the academy. There are also programs that focus on the mentoring of graduate students and post doctoral associates to pursue faculty positions at a diversity of institutions. Feel free to send us a pertinent link to add to our listing.

URM Senior Faculty Think Tank

This group will provide crucial information and be a resource for academic leadership in the form of department heads, deans, and university presidents. Under development.

ASEE Deans' Council Meeting

The American Society of Engineering Education has an Engineering Deans council that is focused on excellence in engineering faculty in the areas of research, teaching and outreach. These meetings are limited to Deans, but faculty are encouraged to see the agenda of meetings and discuss with their own Dean’s.

Mission

To significantly increase the number and success of Underrepresented Minority (URM) engineering and science faculty utilizing innovative programs that facilitate strategic institutional partnerships promoting URM faculty recruitment, promotion, retention and leadership.
