We have a world class innovative research program with specific strength in the areas of Biomolecular Engineering, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology, Green Engineering and Biofuels, Computational Nanoscience and Biology, Polymers and Electronic Materials. Our Department also offers a collegial atmosphere of direct interactions with the faculty and is situated in one of the best area for life and business in the USA. We provide financial assistance to all doctoral students admitted into our program. Our graduate students receive a stipend, plus tuition and health insurance.
Our admissions decisions are based on the overall achievements and experience of the applicant. The typical GRE scores for our successful international applicants are: V > 450, Q > 750, AW > 4.5; the TOEFL score should be a minimum of 80 total with a minimum of 18 in any category.
